Booking several rooms in Paris: how it works

Group of travelers at the reception of a Korner hotel in Paris

Exhibitor teams, weddings, school groups: booking several rooms in Paris is not like a standard booking. Here is how it works at Korner.

Booking one room in Paris is simple. Booking eight for a team, an extended family or a delegation of exhibitors is much less so: availability is scattered, rates vary from one room to the next, and nobody wants to handle eight separate confirmations. Here is how we do it at Korner, and what you need to plan on your side.

When does it count as a group?

For us, the threshold is clear: as soon as your request exceeds three rooms on the same dates, it moves out of the standard booking process and is handled by our dedicated service. Below that, booking online remains the quickest route.

In practice, you send a single request and receive a single proposal, with a nightly rate valid for the entire stay. It is simpler for you, and it is also what allows us to guarantee that everyone stays in the same place — something individual bookings can never do.

The requests we handle most often

Teams and exhibitors. Trade fairs at Porte de Versailles, conferences at the Palais des Congrès, seminars: these are the most frequent requests. What matters is being close to the event venue and being able to arrive the evening before. Our article on hotels near Porte de Versailles details the relevant hotels.

Families and private events. Weddings, birthdays, family reunions: here, what matters is keeping guests together and allowing staggered arrivals. Our receptions are open 24/7, which makes late arrivals easier.

School and association groups. The deciding factors are the budget per person and being close to a metro line running directly to the sites being visited.

What we will ask you

To put together an accurate proposal, four pieces of information are enough: the exact dates of the stay, the number of rooms and their breakdown (singles, doubles, twins), the total number of people, and the preferred neighborhood if there is a location constraint — an event venue, a train station, an address to get to.

The earlier we receive these details, the more flexibility there is on both the rate and the choice of hotel.

One group, sometimes several hotels

Our thirteen hotels are spread across eight arrondissements, often just a few stops from one another. When one hotel cannot accommodate an entire group, we split it between two nearby hotels rather than turn the request down — in the 15th arrondissement between our hotel near Gare Montparnasse and our hotel near the Eiffel Tower, for example, or in the 17th between our two hotels in Batignolles and Porte de Champerret.

It is a flexibility that few Parisian hotel groups of our size can offer.

When to get in touch

For a stay outside trade fair periods, three to four weeks in advance gives plenty of leeway. For peak periods — major trade fairs at Porte de Versailles, Fashion Week, the end-of-year holidays — serious requests start three to six months ahead, and block availability goes quickly.

A tip: even at an early stage, send us your request. We would rather look into a tentative lead than discover a firm request three days before arrival.

Making your request

Everything starts from our group booking page: describe your stay in a few lines and we will come back to you with a costed proposal. If you are still unsure about the area, our guide which neighborhood to stay in Paris will help you frame your request, and our 3-star hotels in Paris are presented one by one.
