1. Identity of the data controller
The data controller is the operating company of the hotel concerned by the request, the booking or the stay.
When the request concerns several hotels or the Korner Hotels group in general, the data may be processed by Korner Hotels or by the group’s coordinating entity, on behalf of the operating companies concerned.

2. Purposes of processing
The operating companies of the Korner hotels may process the User’s personal information for the following purposes:
- providing the information or services requested;
- managing contact requests;
- managing bookings;
- managing the Customer’s stay;
- processing payments and bank guarantees;
- issuing invoices;
- managing customer relations;
- handling complaints;
- collecting information to improve the Website, products and services;
- contacting the User about events relating to the Korner hotels, including in particular information on new partnerships, product updates or customer support;
- preventing fraud;
- complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Recipients
Personal information is intended for the operating companies of the Korner hotels concerned by the request, the booking or the stay.
It is never passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.
It may, however, be passed on to the subcontractors and service providers used by the Korner hotels to perform the services, in particular:
- booking service provider;
- payment service provider;
- IT service providers;
- Website host;
- customer relations service providers;

4. Retention period

For reasons of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data, the request may be processed provided that the User provides proof of identity, in particular by producing a valid identity document.
The Korner hotels may, where applicable, object to manifestly abusive requests, in particular due to their number or their repetitive or systematic nature.
Consumer rights — Bloctel
The User is informed of their right to register on the Bloctel telephone canvassing opt-out list.
Bloctel is the telephone canvassing opt-out list on which any consumer may register free of charge so as no longer to be canvassed by telephone by a professional with whom they have no ongoing contractual relationship, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The law states that any professional, whether directly or through a third party acting on its behalf, is prohibited from canvassing by telephone a consumer registered on this list, except in the cases provided for by law.
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, to be provided on a specific date or within a specific period do not give rise to the right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance sales.
The terms of sale of the booked rate specify the cancellation and/or modification terms of the booking for the chosen rate.
The cancellation, modification, no-show and refund conditions are set out in the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale and in the rate conditions brought to the Customer’s attention before the booking is confirmed.
6. Response times
The Korner hotels undertake to respond to any request for access, rectification, objection or any other request for additional information within a reasonable time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of the complete request.
Dispute resolution platform
The Korner hotels inform the Customer of the existence of a European online dispute resolution platform, which the Customer may use to try to resolve a dispute relating to a booking made online.
Customer reviews
In accordance with Articles L.111-7-2 and D.111-16 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the Korner hotels inform the User of the terms for publishing the customer reviews displayed on the hotel pages of the Website.
Origin of the reviews. The reviews displayed are public reviews posted by customers on each hotel’s Google listing. They are retrieved automatically from Google and updated approximately every two months. The overall rating and the number of reviews shown are those calculated and displayed by Google on the update date indicated on the page.
No verification. The Korner hotels do not carry out any verification to ensure that the author of a review actually stayed at the property. Any checks are the responsibility of the platform on which the review was published.
Selection criteria and display order. The reviews displayed are a selection: only 5-star reviews containing a text of 81 to 400 characters, chosen from among the most recent reviews, are retained. They therefore do not represent all the reviews published about the hotel, which the User can consult in full via the “See reviews” or “View on Google” link. Reviews highlighted by the hotel are displayed first, followed by the other reviews from the most recent to the oldest. The month of publication of each review is indicated.
Translation. Reviews written in a language other than French are translated automatically; the original language is then indicated below the review.
No consideration. No consideration is given to review authors in exchange for their publication.
Display period. The reviews displayed are replaced at each update by more recent reviews. A review does not remain displayed once it has dropped out of the selection described above.
Review summary. The summary and keywords presented on each hotel page are written by the Korner hotels based on a reading of public reviews published on the Booking, Expedia, Google, Tripadvisor and Airbnb platforms. They highlight the points most frequently appreciated by customers and do not constitute an exhaustive summary of all reviews. The number of reviews indicated is rounded down to the nearest hundred.
Reporting and removal. Any author of a displayed review, or any person wishing to report a review they consider inaccurate or not genuine, may request its removal from the Website by writing to guest-relation@hotels-korner.com. A review can be modified directly on the platform where it was published.

Bookings made with the Korner hotels are subject to the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale, available on the Website.
